A brand built for the community.

The ArtSpace is a queer-led, community-focused organization that promotes self-reflection, healing, and growth through the arts. While not currently a registered 501(c)(3), the organization functions similarly to one and depends on the support of donors and partner orgs to continue supporting the people it works with. Both of these factors informed every decision made while building The ArtSpace brand.

By contrasting colorful, art-driven visuals with clean, structured design, I was able to create something that puts community first, stays authentic, and appeals to corporate donors and partners. This approach has helped The ArtSpace expand the resources and opportunities it provides and better connect with and serve creatives, students, and the community as a whole.

Leveraging social and online channels.

To support The ArtSpace throughout all of its marketing and outreach initiatives, I created on-brand social and digital materials, client-editable templates, and a library of ‘plug-and-play’ assets. This has helped the organization better connect with community members, donors, and partners by reducing the pain points in its marketing process while staying visually cohesive.
